Campaign Conception

At Raborn Media, we’re not only a creative firm, but we proactively think on your behalf. One of the ways we do this is with campaign conception. A campaign is defined as an organized course of action to achieve a goal. What does that mean for you? Our team strives to help you identify areas to grow or capitalize on, come up with ideas, create a campaign, target the appropriate audience, and track the success and results.

Campaigns come in many shapes and sizes, but they all have three main components associated with them: creatives, audience, and results.

The two main forms of creatives for campaigns are video and graphics. There are also instances where text copy may be used. Next, we then help determine who the target audience is and where to place or how to distribute the campaign. This can be in the form of digital ads on Facebook and Instagram, YouTube pre-roll ads, organic social media posts, traditional advertising methods such as tv and radio commercials, billboards, etc. We have the experience and expertise to guide you through that process. And lastly, where the rubber meets the road, how do we know if the campaign worked? Did the cost spend efficiently accomplish the goal at hand? Let’s look at an example:

  • A furniture store wants to create more foot traffic and boost sales during the July 4th holiday.
  • We would help brainstorm ideas and create a campaign, maybe in this instance a direct mailer with coupon or % off if “x” $$ spent.
  • Create the graphical elements for the mailer.
  • And to track results, place an automatic counter at the door to gauge foot traffic and then could also look at the results of the coupon or discount promotion used from the direct mailer.

Another example may be in a healthcare setting, say an orthopedic clinic:

  • The clinic has purchased a new device that allows for a same-day, outpatient procedure when previously it was more invasive or required a hospital stay.
  • We might suggest a 30-second video of a physician highlighting the machine and the procedure, and placing it as a YouTube pre-roll ad.
  • We would then determine a budget and duration to run the campaign, and then measure the results based on the call-to-action interactions and demographics from the reports the platform/medium provides.

We also look for ways to create simple, effective, and repeatable campaigns. A good example of this is patient testimonials. It may require the company to do some initial investment of a camera and equipment, determine a location in the office to stage and capture the testimonial, but after some training and a few captures, we have helped create a repeatable process where organic content can be used for future campaigns in a long-term cost-efficient manner.

Campaign Conception, lastly, revolves a lot around branding and tagline creation as well.

Another key goal of campaigns is brand recognition. Yes, we are trying to accomplish a specific goal when we run specific campaigns, but there is also a key element of brand awareness. Make sure consumers know your company name, and when they hear your “jingle” or tagline, there is an association to your brand. Raborn Media can help with all of this.
